PACKAGING MADE FROM POST-INDUSTRIAL RESIN

WHAT IS PIR?

PIR (Post-Industrial Resin) is a blend of plastic waste recovered from industrial and manufacturing processes. The difference between PIR and PCR is that post-industrial resin has not yet been in the hands of a consumer.

WILL I COMPROMISE QUALITY?

Post-industrial resin is made from collected scraps that do not make it into the final products being made for consumers. Otherwise sent to the landfill, this plastic is instead recycled and used again in future products such as flexible packaging.

There is no compromise to quality — you’re adding value by contributing to your sustainability goals and helping your customers feel good about protecting the environment from unnecessary waste.

WHY PIR?

PIR can be used over and over again, making it a contributor to the circular economy in an effort to eliminate waste and reuse and recycle existing materials.

Sustainable packaging reduces excess and uses renewable materials that are lightweight, making a positive impact on customer retention, advocacy for sustainable options, and the circular economy through manufacturing, distribution, and disposal.
